Making church safe and COVID secure is our top priority.
We're ensuring that all of our services are following the latest guidance from both government and Baptists Together. Before informing us of your planned attendance, please read the following guidelines:
Booking must be limited to your households/bubbles.
All current social distancing guidelines must be adhered to.
Hand sanitiser must be used on entry and exit of the building.
A face covering must be worn at all times within the building (unless medically exempt)
Upon entry, please find a seat and remain seated.
Please do not sing during the service.
Please do not congregate before or after the service.
Do I have to register?
Yes. Under the current guidance, we are limited to a maximum capacity of 30 people. Not only does registering allow us to monitor the need for a second service; it reduces the time waiting to take details on the door. We are working on a first-come, first-served basis, which unfortunately means we must prioritise those who have pre-registered. If you choose to attend without registering, we shall attempt to accommodate you, however, those pre-registered are prioritised.
Do I have to wear a mask?
Yes. It is a government requirement for everyone over the age of 12 to wear a face-covering inside places of worship unless you are medically exempt.
Can I sing?
Singing is currently not allowed. However, we are using other methods for you to engage with live worship.
Where do I sit?
Seating is currently spaced socially distanced. Upon entry to the building, you will be directed to the sanctuary. Households and support bubbles can be seated together. Please do not move any of the seating; they have been carefully placed for social distancing.
Will I have to self isolate if someone attending test positive for COVID?
Our seating is socially distanced which means you are unlikely to be contacted by NHS Track and Trace, but the NHS Track and Trace app may alert you if you have been a close contact.
What if I have any further questions that I'd like to ask?
Please contact us using our contact form.
