Church Together

Drawing from 2 Thessalonians 1:1–12, this service explores how prayer is often our most powerful response to life's challenges. We look at the example of the early church to see how persistent prayer helps us grow in faith and support one another when things get tough.

On this first Sunday of the New Year, we introduce our church motto for 2026: "Jesus says: ‘Come and see, then go and talk about what you hear and see.’" Drawing from John 1 and Matthew 11, this service and Communion time invite us to move beyond simply knowing about Jesus to experiencing a life-changing personal relationship with Him, and then sharing that transformative hope with the world around us.

On this third Sunday of Advent, we explore Joseph’s unexpected message from an angel and his quiet, faithful obedience in the face of an impossible situation (Matthew 1:18–25). Accompanied by the Huddersfield Wind Band.
