Church In Transition

The Minister and Diaconate recently met to review the way forward for our church here at Salendine Nook. The decision was made to move to a new flexible worship pattern, meeting socially distanced in the church building, whilst still producing our online services. If you would like to learn more about our new flexible worship pattern, please read the following documents linked here and here.

Following this change to our new flexible worship pattern, we have adjusted the name of 'Church At Home' to 'Church In Transition'.  From now on, this will be the name that will be used to refer to our church services. 29th November 2020 - Our Advent Journey Begins

We start our Advent journey this Sunday

Let the heavens rejoice and the earth exult, Let the sea roar and all the creatures in it,

Let the fields exult and all that is in them. Then let all the trees of the forest shout for joy before the Lord when he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the earth with righteousness and the peoples in good faith.

The notes are Steven thoughts for the day - Service Notes (Word doc)(pdf)

Canon Michael Storey has prepared this weeks service. Friends at Wooldale and Scape will be using Michael's thought during the same time as our service. Friends from across Huddersfield will be joining together in worship - something that we wouldn't have done, but for Lockdown.
